Development Services
The
Development Services Division is responsible for the co-ordination
of services delivered by the Planning and Building Departments. These services include
land use planning, development engineering, committee
of adjustment, building permit issuance and inspections,
septic installation and re-inspections and property standard
enforcement and inspections.
The
Director works with Council, the CAO and the Directors of the
other Divisions to ensure that Council's policies are implemented,
accurate and timely advice is provided and corporate goals and
objectives are met. The Director is also responsible for
the effective operation and integration of these services to meet
the needs of other departments, customers and stakeholders.
